Fallout 76 has been around for almost four years now, but Bethesda says, the support for online spin-off of the popular game series will continue for a long time.
Roadmap planned for the next few years
This year alone, four seasons and extensive updates are planned for the game, as the developers recently shared with the release of the new roadmap.
However, the plans for Fallout 76 are probably a lot bigger.
In an interview with AusGamers magazine, Fallout 76 design director Mark Tucker said that they are currently working on a roadmap for the next 5 years.
We have long term plans, and things get a little fuzzier the further we go out because we adjust and adapt as things show up and we see what players want and what they’re doing. But, a lot of my time right now is spent on planning that three and five-year roadmap.

So we could still get updates for the MMO with a post-nuclear setting for quite some time.
The Fallout universe should be big enough – and with the expedition feature planned for this fall, traveling to other known places wouldn’t be a big problem.
The year 2022 kicked off with the recent release of the “Space Invaders” update, which brought an alien invasion of Appalachia as well as the start of Season 8.
