The Cut and Mend update for World War Z is now available. It includes new weapons, new items and some Quality of Life changes!
Contents
New weapons & items
If you go through the levels attentively and collect all the documents, you will be rewarded with the new, free Cut and Mend update. While collecting all the documents in a single level will earn you the large two-handed sword as a melee weapon, collecting all the documents in an entire episode will give you a new variant of the ACW, an assault rifle.
Also, there’s now the placeable bandage kit that your teammates can use to heal themselves – and with the item Adrenaline, you can help yourself up once and even get infinite stamina for a short time.
In addition, there are some new pendants with which you can decorate your character.
Quality of Life improvements
When it comes to Quality of Life, the developers haven’t skimped on the improvements either, and have brought a feature into the game that the community has been asking for for a long time: Perk Loadouts.
This allows you to save a selection of perks from a class and easily switch between them.
Horde mode rewards are now available after each wave, and they won’t be lost if you drop out of the round for any reason.
There is also a button to quickly switch between first person and third person, some stability updates and fixes.
