The Day Before – Game reports back with strange sauna insight

Since the recent controversies surrounding The Day Before, things have been a bit quieter around the upcoming survival title from developer Fntastic.

Last update was that they are in a legal dispute over the name with a third party and there should now be talks after videos were blocked.

Just under a month after the last sign of life for the game, a new, short video has been released. Interestingly, this one is still titled “The Day Before”.

The video is just under a minute long and shows a player character entering a “post-apocalyptic spa”, which is probably located in one of the hubs.
You can then also see some other half-naked characters.

A hint appears explaining the benefits such as relaxation, rest and increased stamina from the sauna, followed by a hint that one’s stamina has increased.
Then the character leaves the sauna again – and cut – followed by the familiar keyart and release date.

The video itself is actually meaningless and can at best be seen as a sign of life from the developers.
Accordingly, the community’s reactions range from mocking to critical.

For example, one user writes in the comments, alluding to the insertion in the video:

Can we talk about the fact they’re still referring to this alleged ‘game’ as ‘The Day Before’ when supposedly they failed to copyright their own title? When are they going to change the name? It’s almost as if this is just a big load of ‘Warm Steam Floating in the Air’.

What exactly the video is supposed to show or do, we can only speculate about – and be curious what we can expect next from The Day Before.
