Even if the lack of an announcement for a release date in the coming weeks was a pretty clear sign, it is now official: the survival MMORPG Pioner will no longer be released this year.

Release no longer in 2023

Developer LLC GFAGGames published a statement on Twitter explaining the reasons for the postponement.
Although the company is working hard to complete the game, the scope and challenges involved in developing the game are simply too ambitious for a release in 2023 without having to compromise on quality, the statement reads.

The release of the game will therefore be postponed to 2024, in hope to maintain the quality standards the developers have in mind.
There is currently no new release date for the ambitious project.
