In mid-October, the next edition of the Minecraft Live Event will take place, in which everything will revolve around new content for the sandbox title Minecraft and its spin-offs.
As part of the event, the community can also vote on the next creature addition to the game, which will then be implemented.
In the last few days, the developers from Mojang have presented the three candidates for this year, which we would also like to introduce to you here:
Contents
Candidate 1 – Crab
The first candidate for this year’s mob voting is the crab. Should this animal come into play, it will be found in the mangrove swamp.
In the style of a fiddler crab, the crustacean has a large claw and a small claw.
The large claw is particularly interesting for players because it allows them to place blocks at a greater distance. A circumstance that can be very advantageous especially when building large structures and in lofty heights.

Candidate 2 – Armadillo
The second candidate is the armadillo, which will be found in the savannah biome. When you startle the animal it will curl up into a ball.
As a drop, the armadillo can leave a horn scale, which you can use to create a new type of armor – not for you, though, but for your faithful wolf companion.

Candidate 3 – Penguin
The third candidate of this year’s mob voting is the penguin. This one will be found on the beaches in the Stormy Coast biome.
On land it looks a bit clumsy, but in the water it is very agile and nimble and an excellent swimmer.
The penguin can also help you by speeding up the movement of your boat.
