Hunt: Showdown – New trailer for the upcoming event Tide Of Shadows

After the recent announcement of the new boss Rotjaw for Hunt: Showdown, a new trailer now gives the first glimpses of the upcoming event Tide of Shadows and its contents.

Of course, the trailer shows the new crocodile boss Rotjaw, but some new hunters also make their appearance.
Among them, another native woman, a man with a kind of iron mask cage and a mysterious woman wrapped in robes can be seen.

These will probably also be part of the new Event Battle Pass, which is now also standard in Hunt: Showdown.

Meanwhile, some new weapons have also been confirmed and released, which will come into play during the event:

• LeMat Mark II UpperMat: A coarse-caliber version of the LeMat, which occupies a middle slot and is not compatible with compartments.
• Railroad Hammer: A sledgehammer whose actual use used to be hammering in spikes for the rails.
• Winfield 1893 Slate Riposte: This variant of the Winfield 93 Slate is even more deadly in close combat due to its bayonet attachment.
• Drilling: A double barrel medium ammunition rifle that also has a single shotgun barrel mounted on it.

The trailer also hints at some kind of firebolt for the hand crossbow, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Various pacts are also mentioned, and some of the Native Shrines from a previous event can be seen.

This suggests that the Tide of Shadows event will combine and use various elements from previous events.

When does the event start?

There is currently no information about the start time. However, update 1.13 is currently on the test servers and the start of the event has also been announced for the near future.

So it is possible that update 1.13 and Tide of Shadows will be released directly together or very close to each other.
