Finally, Hunt: Showdown players on consoles can start the Tide of Corruption event – and across platforms, you’ll get extra event points all weekend long.
Double event points this weekend
This weekend, double event points are available for all players on all platforms, so you can quickly advance your progress in the Event Battle Pass, whether in the free or paid version.
The bonus applies to all actions that take place within the missions, the challenges and milestones are not affected.
So it’s worth taking all the totems you can get!
You can read more about which interactions will earn you event points and which rewards are waiting for you in our guide to the Tide of Corruption event.
The boost will run until next Monday, 10/16/2023 at 9am CEST.
Event start on the consoles
There is also good news for all console players, as they have been left out in the cold until now and could only watch the PC players.
The reason for this is that updates have to be checked on the consoles.
If something goes wrong or the testers have something to complain about, the process has to be restarted after the problems have been solved and takes up to a week.
However, with a bit of a delay, the Tide of Corruption event has now started on consoles and you can go hunting for event rewards on Xbox and PlayStation as well.
To compensate for this, all players will receive 500 Blood Tokens and the double event points bonus will last on consoles up to and including next weekend – that is, for 12 days.
