Firesale event is active
After the developers published another hint via Twitter, the prices of all merchants have been lowered to 2 rubles, dollars and euros for the pre-wipe event #3.
So you can get all items for free at the moment – and many players also report that they have received a million rubles via system message.
When is the wipe coming in Escape from Tarkov?
In short: There is currently no exact date for the wipe, but expect it to happen any day from now on.
The start of the fire sale indicates that the August wipe of Escape from Tarkov is imminent. Both the event itself and the developer’s plans to be present at this year’s gamescom speak for this, which makes the wipe in this period unlikely.
As usual, there is no exact information and at most hints, such as the file name of the shared image and a hard-to-see date on a picture of an Escape from Tarkov tournament channel.
Of course, many assume the coming Thursday as the day for the wipe, however, the developers also jump on the community gag(“Wipe is on Thursday!”) not infrequently, so they could be joking here.

First picture of Scav boss Kaban
Also interesting is the first image of a new Scav boss named Kaban, who will soon be wreaking havoc on Streets of Tarkov.
There were already hints about him in the run-up to the TarkovTV livestream and in the livestream the PKM was revealed as his weapon.
There is no more information about him at the moment.
