Escape from Tarkov just recently underwent its latest and biggest wipe, which reset players’ progress, all items and in-game money values and brought Patch 0.14.0.0.

Now developer Battlestate Games has launched a new Twitch Drops promotion that gives you a few items to start with when you watch others play.

We have compiled all the information about the promotion for you.

How long are the Twitch Drops active?

The Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops 2023/2024 start on December 29, 2023 and run until January 8.

  • Start: December 29, 2023 – 11 AM GMT / 6 AM EST
  • End: January 8, 204 – 11 AM GMT / 6 AM EST

How long do you have to watch?

You can receive up to 6 drops every day, but you must watch for up to 9 hours:

  • Common Drop 1 – 1 hour 30min watch
  • Common Drop 2 – 3 hours of watching
  • Common Drop 3 – 4 hours 30min watch
  • Rare Drop 1 – 6 hours of watching
  • Rare Drop 2 – 7 hours 30min watch
  • Legendary Drop 1 – 9 hours watch

Warning: Be careful, you have to claim your latest Drop to make the time progress after that!

You can check your current progress in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
 

What exactly do you get with the drops?

Apart from the developers, nobody knows exactly what is hidden in the Twitch Drops item pool. However, the rewards usually range from very simple items such as chocolate bars to very rare and high-quality items such as LED-X or graphics cards.

Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops – How to connect the accounts

  • Log in to the official Escape from Tarkov website – click here.
  • Visit your profile page.
  • If you have a version of Escape from Tarkov, you will find the “Link Twitch account” Button on the right-hand side of the page.
  • Click on the button and you will be redirected to Twitch.tv, where the page will ask for your consent to link your Twitch account.
  • If you have done everything correctly, you will now find the new purple button “Unlink Twitch account” on the Escape from Tarkov profile page.

As a precaution, log in again on Twitch itself and call up one of the participating streams – and then you can receive the drops.

If it does look like this, you did everything right.

Who can you watch and when?

As in previous promotions, there are some days on which all streamers in the Escape from Tarkov category have Drops activated and some days on which you can only watch certain streamers in order to accumulate time.

You can also see whether a streamer is taking part in the campaign on this day if the tag “Drops activated” is displayed under their stream and/or if “Drops” is mentioned in the stream title.
