Don’t Starve Together – Cheaper than ever and with record player numbers

Don’t Starve is celebrating its tenth birthday, and to mark the occasion, both the game itself and Don’t Starve Together are heavily discounted. More than seven years after the full release of Don’t Starve, the multiplayer spin-off in particular is currently recording record player numbers.

Since then, Don’t Starve has occupied a niche with its Tim Burton look and interesting gameplay from a rather unusual perspective for the survival genre, but now thousands of players seem to be rediscovering it, or even discovering it for the first time.

According to SteamDB, Don’t Starve Together currently has an all-time high of over 106,000 players simultaneously trying to fight the game’s hardships together.
In total, up to six players can play together or against each other in a game at the same time – but even larger rounds can be created through mods and dedicated servers.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, both titles of the development studio Klei Entertainment are drastically reduced. Don’t Starve is currently available on Steam for only 2.04 Euros, Don’t Starve Together even costs only 1.49 Euros.
