Tunnels of Terror is the first paid DLC for the zombie shooter Back 4 Blood. We give you a brief overview of the contents and have the trailer ready.
What’s in the Tunnels of Terror DLC?
The content of Tunnels of Terror includes the tunnels that give the game its name, the so-called “Ridden Hives”, a kind of underground ants’ nest of the infected. However, the tunnels are not standalone maps, but offer an alternative path on already known maps.
The path through the area is harder and more dangerous, but also offers much better loot. Here you will also encounter the so-called “Warped Ridden”, who are significantly stronger than their colleagues you normally face.
New additions to cleaners and weapons
On your way through the tunnels you will be assisted by two new cleaners, Sharice and Heng. While Sharice, as a former firefighter, can craft armor, among other things, Heng can find hidden items and prepper stashes.
These are only available to DLC owners in the campaign, but can be unlocked by everyone else in Swarm PvP mode.
The arsenal of weapons is also expanded by 7 legendary weapons and 13 legendary attachments. Of particular note is the new reloadable hammer, which appears to have some sort of detonator built in, which is replaced after a hit.
You can also now upgrade all of the attachments in the Hideout for a small fee.
Twelve new player cards as well as five new director cards provide more variety and customizable loadouts.
For collectors, 12 new achievements are available and those looking for a challenge can try the new difficulty level “No Hope”.
Last but not least, we have the launch trailer for you, which introduces all the new content:
