The February update for Back 4 Blood is here and brings some useful features and changes for the horde shooter.
New features
If you broadcast games via livestream or record videos for them, you run the risk of using license-protected music more and more often nowadays. This can lead to problems – also with Back 4 Blood.
That’s why Turtle Rock introduced a streamer mode with the February update.
This ensures that such music can be deactivated – problem detected and banished!
In addition, the update brings another function into the game, with which players can decide to continue playing with their teammates after a completed round.
Those who choose to do so will move on to the next lobby together.
Changes & Balancing
There have also been some changes in terms of balancing. The ability of the cleaner Walker was a thorn in the eye of the developers and they changed it without further ado. The ability “Incoming” marks a target and reduces the damage it causes.
In return, Walker’s previous ability, the increased accuracy after precision kills, was removed.
In terms of gunplay, there are also some innovations. For example, you’ll now pick up more ammo for shotguns and assault rifles, and you’ll be able to interrupt the firing of a weapon by reloading it.
If you like building different decks, you should also be happy, because the number of possible deck slots for each mode has been doubled from 8 to 16.
If you still find the card system a bit confusing, you’ll now get more information about it with additional tips.
In addition, many cards themselves have been adjusted and their effects have been brought in line with each other in terms of strength.
The complete list of changes can be found here on the official website.
