The battle royale title Super People will soon enter its next beta phase – and apparently it will be the last one, if you trust the new trailer shown during Summer Game Fest.
What is Super People?
For those of you who don’t know what Super People is, here’s the most concise summary possible:
In Super People you play the classic battle royale format, with looting and equipping, constantly shrinking safe zone and PvP until there is only one player or team left standing.
The special thing is that in this game you slip into the skin of one of twelve super soldiers.
These have special superpowers, ranging from special movement abilities like superjumps to passive combat effects like knockbacks to abilities like an enemy scan.
Visually, the game is undoubtedly reminiscent of the genre veteran PUBG – in terms of features, Apex Legends probably comes closest to the abilities.
Final beta in August
After there have already been several closed beta phases for the game, there will now be the final beta, after which the release will probably follow soon. The starting date for the final beta test is August 17, 2022, in a few weeks.
How you can register for it is not yet clearly confirmed, but it is likely that you can again simply register for the beta via Steam – and that participants of the last beta phases have immediate access.
