After Hunt: Showdown experienced technical problems during the Traitor’s Moon event, which is still active, the developers announced that the event would be extended and that compensation measures would be taken.
Now it has been announced what exactly the players have received.
Compensation for technical problems
At the next login, all players of Hunt: Showdown will receive 200 bloodbonds as well as a Charys implied contract that lasts for 2 hours and is automatically activated at login.
Console players will receive 300 blood tokens, as there seems to be no way for the developers to play out the contracts there in this way.
If you activated a contract with a duration longer than two hours within the event runtime, which you then couldn’t use due to the server problems, you can also request compensation for them manually.
To do so, you have to contact the developers via the official site, who will then verify the case and provide additional compensation if necessary.
For the future, Crytek also vows to improve both the provision of tools for such cases, as well as the general performance of the game and the servers during such peak times.
