Warzone & DMZ – How to unlock the M13C

The Reveal Event in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone/DMZ is active and confirms Modern Warfare 3 as the next part of the series, which will also have an impact on the Warzone and DMZ modes.

During the Shadow Siege event, you will not only find out what will happen in the game story-wise, but you will also be able to unlock the M13C as a new weapon in the game.

This is how the Shadow Siege event works

The event plays like an XXL round of DMZ, in which all players are in a large mega-squad. Players against AI, the course is fixed.

Story-wise, you execute a major attack on the “Konni Group”, the new antagonist for the upcoming game.
This group is said to have stored poison gas under an observatory in a bunker, which you are supposed to secure.

Stage 1

In stage 1 of the event, you will jump with your squad at the missile launching stations and have to secure them until they are taken over.
Meanwhile, you will be attacked by waves of enemies, which will be flown in from helicopters.

Phase 2

Once you have captured the rocket launchers, they will blow a hole in the bunker and you will have to fight your way there.
So go to the center of the map and to the hidden bunker.

Phase 3

When you reach the bunker, you have to enter it and pick up poison gas containers, which you then take to a helicopter outside the bunker and drop them off.
Since you are roaming around in a radiation area you have to change your masks regularly, you will get new ones from the enemies in the bunker.

Outside the bunker, as in the first phase, helicopters and waves of enemies will attack.

Once you have secured all the canisters, board the helicopter and extract from the mission – a cutscene follows.

How to get the M13C

When you go to the event page in the game, you will see the M13C as a reward for a mission.
For this mission, you must help take out 5 commanders during the event.

Commanders come to the battlefield either in Juggernaut suits or in attack helicopters.
The easiest way to do this is to help secure the landing zone at the bunker and keep a close eye on the attack helicopters that keep popping up.

Most of the time you will unlock it in the first game round, which will be confirmed on the screen.

Then you have unlocked the M13C assault rifle and can use it in Modern Warfare 2, Warzone and DMZ and level it up.
