In the last few days, several events in Escape from Tarkov are starting again. The latest event presents you with an almost impossible task while under the influence of combat drugs.

This changes in the game
The Obdolbos Stim has been customized for this event. In addition to the positive effects of increasing strength and stamina by 50 for 30 minutes, another effect has been added to the Stim.
When you use it, you will receive +1000% damage, on all hits except to the head.
The negative damage effects of all other Stim shots appear to have been completely removed for the event.
This means that even the thickest armor and helmets won’t help you if even a small projectile hits an unprotected area.
Even one shot from a pistol can often kill you.
Matching new quest
In addition to this change, there is a new quest in the game that you can get from Skies:
For this one, you’ll need to eliminate 20 PMC players while under the effect of the Obdolbos Stim. That alone is a task, but if you die during it, the counter is completely reset.
So the quest is actually: Eliminate 20 PMC players while standing under the Obdolbos Stim without dying.
Do the developers want to lure cheaters with the event?
The almost unsolvable task has only been completed by a few players so far, and since this is a short-term event, only a few will even finish it.
Although the completion unlocks the purchase of some valuable essays, the whole thing doesn’t quite fit into the picture of the previous events.
Therefore, there is currently the theory that this event mainly serves to lure cheaters before Escape from Tarkov goes into the next wipe cycle.
As usual, the developers are keeping a low profile and not giving out any information.
If you want to try the quest despite the difficulty level, you should start soon.
After all, nobody knows how long the event will be active.
