Recently, the vampire battle royale Bloodhunt announced the development stop for the game.
Now there is the next bad news for Battle Royale fans, because the next title is about to be shut down: Super People 2 (or simply Super People).
The end for Super People 2
With a map that looks a bit less like the apocalypse and characters that have superpowers, developer Wonder People wanted to add to the PUBG formula and have a piece of the pie.
This seems to have worked during the first playtests and the initial release, but the player numbers dropped quite quickly afterwards and never really recovered.
From over 47,000 players to just a few hundred in the last few weeks – a sharp drop, seemingly with no chance of improvement either.
The South Korean developer is therefore now drawing the consequences and announced that the game’s servers will be shut down on August 21, 2023.
However, those who have never played the game can already no longer find it as a download in the Steam Store.
Before the announcement, there were still a few hundred players playing, but afterwards the player numbers even dropped to below 100 in some cases – understandably.
This means that we have the second Battle Royale in a short period of time, which will have to drop out of the highly competitive market.
