ARK 2 – New concept art reveals eight-legged monster

Little by little, more and more creatures are introduced to the upcoming survival title ARK 2.
Recently, a new spider-like creature was introduced, which might be very fascinating for some players and a nightmare for others.

Araneo(morphus) returns

We are talking about Araneomorphus, a kind of giant spider that seems to carry even smaller spiders on its back on the presented concept art. As is often the case, there is no further information other than the unveiling itself at the moment.

However, it bears the same name as its counterpart in the current game ARK: Survival Evolved, which is characterized by its connection to the giant Broodmother boss and its appearance in groups.

So it’s a joy for creepy-crawly friends and a “final boss” for anyone plagued by arachnophobia.

In the recent past, Studio Wildcard had already announced the return of other popular creatures in the ARK sequel with the Stegosaurus and the Brachiosaurus and the Carnotaurus.
